Yes, everyone is ok. Apparently "the smokey air increased the fuel consumption" and the engine quit on final. It was very hot and muggy here today.

Ouch. Looks like the pilot being led away? Good to see him on his feet.

Interesting... No markings on bottom of wings, no markings on top of wings, and only tiny letters near the tail. Good to see the regs are followed as well in AB as they are in the rest of Canada. :roll:

That's certainly a new excuse. You know there is a solution to that problem: it's called a FUEL GAUGE.

We prefer to call it "A Critical Fuel to Air Mixture Ratio in the tank".
