Excel flight school?
I'm moving to lethbridge in September and I want to start my flight training. Excel is the only flight school iv found in lethbridge. Has anyone done training there? How was it? Good?
Just looking for some reviews. From what iv read about them, everyone tells me it's a great school.

Went there about 8 years ago, great experience.

Re: Excel flight school?
Got checked out with Excel last August after finishing my PPL elsewhere, really enjoyed my time renting there. Excel isn't a big school by any stretch, but they run a great operation there. The president, Roland, is a great guy who always took the time to answer my questions thoroughly, and he's actively involved in training students when he's not in the office. I've only flown with one instructor there, but from my experience they seem to be a good team who know their stuff. As for the equipment, as you can see on their website they have a small fleet of PA-28s which (while not fancy) were always well maintained. They also just remodelled their space in the Air West hangar, looks great from the photos that I've seen. I'd be quick to recommend them, and although I can't afford to fly at the moment I would go back in a heartbeat.

Re: Excel flight school?
I've taken instruction out of four different bases with nine different instructors so far and I really liked training at Excel. Two thumbs up!
