YYC Crew Hotel

Post by Hozer »

Morning,

I am will be attending an upcoming ground school in YYC. Is there a hotel near the airport that offers a crew rate as well as shuttle service to the Campus?

Thanks.

Hi Hozer.

Is this for 737 or DH8?

If it's for the 737, then odds are you're YYZ based and all expenses should be covered by the company. If not, then I'll try to get a list and PM it to you.

Hi Smitty,

Alternatively, I have a crew suite available for rent as of Oct 1. The suite and home were built in 2012 for the sole purpose of accommodating air crew in training or commuting.

It's a one bedroom walk-out basement suite with full kitchen, washer/dryer, 3 piece bathroom, own entrance, and furnished with everything you would need for your stay (linens, utensils etc) and includes cable tv and wireless internet.

It's a 15-20 minute drive to the campus traffic depending and near lots of shops and retail.

Price depends on the length of your ground school but for 6 weeks it would be $1600 ($267/week or ~$38/night)

You would still need a rental car.

If you're interested I have pictures and can send the address.

Thanks for the post.

Definitely a good option for future new hires who are based in YYC.
