Re: Great Film - Canadair Challenger NFB
That was an excellent film.
I recall the first time I climbed aboard one and immediately noticed the interior design was so different and wide for a business jet or the time. The fuselage walls started 90 degree's to the floor. Most business jets had a sunken floor where the diameter of the fuselage was evident and bulged out to max circumference well above the floorboards. On the Challenger the max circumference was right at the floorboards. A true stand up cabin to boot. A true Canadian success story. Bookmarked that one in my "Cool Stuff" folder.
Interesting the film did not mention the fatal test flight accident in the Mojave Desert in April 1980.
