Re: When..?
The 700's are replacing the Embraer's that Boeing is going to take. the max 8/9's are replacing the Airbus fleet. Not sure if they are receiving any 800's
Re: When..?
They will all get laid off as it is impossible to learn a new aircraft. This is known.Airbusfan wrote:The Airbus A319,320 & 321's are removed from the fleet, replaced by 737-800, what happens to those airbus drivers..??
Re: When..?
SEATTLE, April 1, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Boeing [NYSE: BA] and Air Canada have finalized an order for 61 737 MAX airplanes to lead the airline's single-aisle fleet renewal plan. The order, valued at $6.5 billion at list prices, consists of 33 737 MAX 8s and 28 737 MAX 9s, as well as 18 options and 30 rights to purchase additional 737 MAXs.
Boeing has dropped the zeros from the Max family names. Right now there are 3 variants:
737 MAX 7 - 126 passengers (2-class, typical)
737 MAX 8 - 162 passengers (2-class, typical)
737 MAX 9 - 180 passengers (2-class, typical)
There is also the 737 MAX 200 now, which is a high density (200 pass.) single class version of the 737 Max 8.

Re: When..?
Boeing will also be buying 25 e-190's and replacing the capacity with 10 737-700NG's
Re: When..?
That must have changed. I've read somewhere else that more A320/321s are coming to replace them until the MAXs show up.leftoftrack wrote:Boeing will also be buying 25 e-190's and replacing the capacity with 10 737-700NG's
