If there are any authorized person's in the Edmonton area, could you please PM me? I'm a freelance with an application for a rating.
Alternatively, how difficult/time consuming is it to become an AP? I can't find any specific material on TC/CARs website.
Thanks.

Try a flight school in the area. Most have an AP. The appointment to being an AP requires that you sevice requests from other than your own school's students.
DId you hear the one about the jurisprudence fetishist? He got off on a technicality.

Its a PITA. Don't do it unless you have some sort of masochistic preferences. Its not hard to get qualified, there's an interview and a background check involved, just takes time. As I recall, before you go for the interview they will give you the material to study for the interview. You have to do a lot of promising you won't use your powers for evil. Aside from the lawful type of evil inherent in any bureaucratic structure that you would be a part of. You also need to prove the necessity of them going through the process, usually the school you're working for sponsoring you, or other reason since TC these days is loathe to dedicate time to your initiation process without due cause.ThatArmyGuy wrote:
