Just the tip...
For an awesome AvCanada browsing experience, after logging into your account, click on View new posts which is located on the top right side of the page just below the date and time. This will bring up all the active topics since your last visit. Makes it a breeze to surf the site and might actually help reduce multiple threads on the same subject. And that's it; just the tip. Oh, maybe I should have said just a tip. Phrasing!

I mistakenly thought this was going to be a rehash of the wingtip collision incident that happened recently, ironically.

Re: Just the tip...
1) How does the "view new posts" differ from "view active topics" ?
2) If view new posts is 'better', is there a way it could be active without logging in ....you know, for the lurkers ?

1) "New posts" only shows the threads that have been started or replied to since your last visit while "Active Topics" gives you all the threads since a point in time, maybe the last week or so, I'm not sure. I just find using the new posts the quickest and most organized way to view what's happening on here.
2) Not sure if lurkers can benefit from the "View new posts" as I've always been logged in since I've joined (back to the mid to late 90's if you count my former persona on the former version of this forum). It may work with cookies (mmmmmm, cookies ) but I'm not sure.
I started this topic mostly because I see the same thing posted numerous times in different parts of the forum. So I wanted to pass along a technique that might help stop that while helping everyone's browsing experience. And the title was to grab attention. Enjoy.
