No, Burger King bought Tim Horton's but Burger King is owned by a Brazilian private equity firm called 3G Capital. Their history and business record doesn't bode well for Tim Horton's employees, starting it seems with their flight department.

Don't worry, I got the factual part of it. I was referring to the joking references that followed.

The Brazilians are just betting their licks in. Back in the day the electrical utility that served half the country was called Labatt.

You may have a point there. But they also could be getting in some licks because they caught some Canadian spooks with their dirty little fingers in Brazilian government computer files a few months ago. Seeing as how the s**t went into the fan , is probably correct to conclude that the gang in Ottawa has been watching too much Get Smart when they should have been busy studying Mr. Intrepid's work....

So you are comparing the way the new owners are treating their flight department to going in to get a hair cut and ending up with a "brazillian"?
