I almost had a heart attack knowing you guys received your answers. I'm the one to blame since I had flight training in IFR; thus, forced to put my phone in flight mode.... After 2 hours of anxiety and expecting the worst, I finally got the call.... See you guys April 13th

No news here.
But i'm at work in the middle of nowhere with no cell coverage.
I called my mailbox a few times but no joy.

I wonder if they would leave a message or if they'd wait until I can answer (next tuesday, that is)

Oh well, i'm excited for you guys and I'll keep you updated if i hear from them!

No she didn't leave a message in my voicemail when my phone was in flight mode because there's a significant amount of information to be shared with us and I believe she also loves to live through the experience of our reactions haha... So no worries if you did not get a voicemail, it's normal from what I understand!

Congrats to everyone. For those of you on the TCU course I will see you soon. Don't forget, getting in is a huge accomplishment but the real work has yet to start. Stay humble and work hard!

Exactly Braun! Many of us had been discussing the selection process and we concluded that the timeline before we receive an offer, we have a certain influence on it but not the total control of the process. However, after receiving the offer, we are accountable for our own success and we have total control on being successful throughout the course. Staying humble and working hard is all part of it and this is where it needs to count! Congrats again to everyone

Just got an offer for an IFR terminal course starting on may 4th.
Unfortunately I had to decline for financial reason (just bought a house & I need a bit of time to save some pesos).
But don't worry, life's being real good to me these days so it's fine!
I'm still in the pool until summer 2016 so I may get a call in the fall or next spring as I was hinted on the phone.

Best of luck to everybody starting soon & to those waiting for the call!

Any news on the YUL front? I assume spring courses are filling up. Whos left over looking for the fall timeframe?

The two spring courses have already started. The next scheduled course is approximately October'ish.

hey guys,

first of all, congrats to everybody who have been accepted! I have completed my first interview on Januray 14th, and I received the call today for my in person interview scheduled next tuesday.

do you think there are still places for students this summer? would it be VFR or IFR? also, could I be placed at other locations in Quebec?

Hi hip !

How was your interview today ?

The next course should be this fall, by October as braun said earlier. I would guess for VFR or FSS since IFR En Route and Terminal just starded a few weeks ago.

it went pretty good I think. the interviewer told me that the courses for this summer were for VFR/FSS, since the IFR courses are in april.

do you like your formation so far?

Just a quick clarification...Summer as in July/August summer?? I kept hearing more like Sept/Oct.
