Yah must be the empowerment! Yet another great comeback!
:smt078

Keep em coming!
Your turning into another Blastor! Making an argument about everything!

Provide proof that every airlimes/BMO credit card is being replaced with WJ logo card and then this stupid argument can stop!

You have to make a special request in order for them to send out a card without the logo and then with much difficulty.
And the reason for that would be that it is the Westjet/Air miles Reward card you goof. Don't like WJ? Don't get the card. Even my 9 year old cousin could figure that out.

Wow look at all the WestJetters on this thread. With all you guys wasting time on this I must assume the increase in aircraft utilization hasn't started yet. Rebel has a valid point about not wanting the competition on his credit card, and I for one sure don't want WJ on mine. Perhaps attacking Rebel is in preparation for the quarterly results tomorrow? Better get your licks in while you can! When you guys get together why don't you work towards getting pay that isn't embarassing instead of picking on Rebel.

Uhh, no. This is a stupid thread that rebel is making out to be some grand conspiracy. There are all kinds of corporate logo credit cards or NASCAR or a host of others. If you don't want a WJ logo on your card you can get it without one I'm sure. It's no different than that obnoxious Air Canada logo'd luggage you can get at Sears. I wouldn't buy that any more than you would have a WJ credit card and that is our right as consumers.

FWIW, I am not expecting much from Q2 but that has nothing to do with this thread.

It’s absolutely amazing how immature these WJ folks are, just by judging the number of hits, 1172 at last count, over a simple head’ up intended for AC employees. Now these same folks are calling it some sort of conspiracy. Unbelievable, it makes me wonder if they don’t have something to hide. Maybe their scared that their management yet again has done something illegal.

I also heard that the WJ quarterly results are not going to be exactly stellar but what do they expect, this is a rough industry trying to operate in difficult times.

Sorry Rebel my decision not to have a pic of WestJet has nothing to do with espionage or any of that other bullshit. I simply did not want a picture of WestJet on my credit card. That would also include Air Canada if they were on it.

Perhaps this issue is closer to WJetters than others. You are used to living on less than EI cheques and using those cards to get by. No wonder Mastercard is in partnership with WJ - WJ pilots are their best customers!

I believe you stipulated that point in your first post. As I also mentioned before, good for you for expressing your democratic right and I respect you for so doing.. If more of us exercised our rights perhaps we would stop the erosion of those rights.

Rebel:

Why on earth do you insist on calling not having Westjet's Logo on your credit card your "democratic right"? The credit card companies give you a choice because they get more customers that way. They are the one's issuing the card, technically the card belongs to them so they could put whatever they want on it. That they don't is so that dweebs like you won't get offended and will sign up and spend all their money on internet porn sites and 1-900 sex lines and make them a pile of money.

Your ability to pick what's on your card is due to naked capitalism, nowhere near as lofty an ideal as democratic rights and your insistence on using that phrase shows what a pompous buffoon you truly are.

Over 1300 hits, I must have inadvertently hit a nerve, what are you WJ folks hiding?
Have any of you bothered to read the initial post or is this another word of mouth emotional reaction that you WJ folks are so famous for? Normal people definitely do not react in the fashion that you WJ folks have demonstrated on this thread unless they have something to hide.

What have you done this time?

You've got to love your sense of humor but the initial post is self explanatory… :)

Why the WJ crowd got involved is beyond me, unless they've got something to hide. Lately their seeing conspirators against them at every turn. I could say more but let them stew in their own brew.

I just add those things to the long list of things that I just don't give a shyte about. Who cares????? I have a card that gives me air miles with AC, so I guess, following your reasoning, someone should be pissed about that too.
I like to pick battles that I can win, this one makes no sense to me, who cares? And for those of you that do care I have a little advice, DON"T APPLY FOR THAT CARD.

Well that’s interesting since 90% of the contributors to this pathetic thread were WestJetters..

Surprisingly no one pointed out the true intricacy economic significant of the air miles program to any airline and thus the importance of shutting down the card. It just went over their heads..

I'm going out to sniff some kind of chemical in the hanger now, because I have read this entire thread, it means I'm now more bored that I ever have been before. Thank you.
