Any hiring news??

Calls for Jazz have been going out this week. 65% Jazz, 15% of the other AC connectors and 20% off the street.

Thats what the flow may look like after the PML is exhausted. No one knows that for sure.
The flow currently starting is at LEAST 80% Jazz 20% OTS.
The other AC express dont get in on this round.

I did interview jan 14th, sim eval jan 27th. What is time frame for them(jazz) to call back? and do they check ref after they call you? thanks guys

I got 2100hrs. 1200 multi. 750hrs multi pic. 500 turbine. Interviewed on January 15, sim eval in 2 weeks

Well they requirement is pretty low now. A friend of mine got a call, he has 1300TT, 1100 multi-turbine with no PIC

I would advise that if you are interested in flying for Jazz then put your resume in now and keep it updated. Even if the ink on your licence is still wet. The requirements are going to be very fluid over the next decade at all companies. With ACs projected hiring of 1000+ over the next 10 years (as long as the music doesn't stop), the ripple effect will be large. If Jazz (or any other company for that matter) has a hard time finding candidates who meet a certain "requirement" they will adjust the goal posts as needed.

As for hiring news, our VP of flight ops told me last week in groundschool that we have course dates set up every 2 weeks for the foreseeable future. They are expecting the flow through to AC to be fast and furious and hiring at Jazz will follow suit. Guys here are getting called for mainline course dates starting in March. So an early March course date here at Jazz seems reasonable.

Next groundschool after that is Feb 9th. Calls haven't gone out for that one yet!
