Was the passenger Jeremy Clarkson by any chance...?

Easyjet? Hmm. More to this than meets the eye. There probably wasn't a sandwich to give the man. The crew probably divided up the last remaining sandwich and shared it among themselves in order to stay alive long enough to complete the flight.
If I'd known I was going to live this long, I'd have taken better care of myself

lol There probably was a sandwich but it was 3 days old and cost 20 pounds

If I were there and in a position to do so, I would whip out Big John and add some ???? to the sandwich and give it to the idiot.
It would be nice if one could, once off the airplane and out of the terminal building, to get a couple of larger passengers so inclined to restain the idiot and allow the F/A at least 2 good whacks. Especially in the groin area.
Unfortunatley legal concerns and political correctness do not allow such actions.

The average pilot, despite the somewhat swaggering exterior, is very much capable of such feelings as love, affection, intimacy and caring.
These feelings just don't involve anyone else.

I dunno... If other passengers restrained him, and in the process of doing so the passenger tripped and fell repeatedly onto something firm and blunt that just happened to be in the way... Like a beverage cart...

Should've just given him a Snickers bar. You're not yourself when you're hungry.
