Anyway I believe it was the Summit Air buffalo that was hauling stuff to Pang. I heard them on the radio going in there yesterday.

Canada did not take over Newfoundland by force. Maybe there are some guys like you flying their old flag there who do not recognize the jurisdiction of the Canadian federal government.

One day the oil like bison and beaver pelts might run out.

Give me a break. Newfoundland joining Canada is not the same thing as Canada being annexed by the USA. I assure you it will never happen. Well, maybe Alberta, but the rest of us-never. Regardless, I'm going down shooting. I won't be an American.

Harper might do it with an executive order.

Yes it was the Buffalo that delivered the generator, Pang's local photographer, David Kilabuk, got some shots:

First Air occasionally sent the Hercs on long-range charters to other points across the globe. So in the same way it's easy, albeit more expensive, to bring someone like Lynden Air Cargo up north for the odd time they need the big door of a Herc.

Before it happens, head on down to the local Canadian Army armoury, I'm sure they've got plenty of Ross Rifles and .303 SMLEs, in storage. Then again, this wouldn't be the first time our Southern neighbours have decided to try and roll over on us. With that in mind, first one to the White House gets to do the honours?

If the US were to try and annex, or absorb Canada, China might have something to say about it, along with Russia, surprisingly enough.

I think its time for this topic to be locked. Not sure it could go any further off topic.

Well the Herc cant get in to Pang anyways, but By the looks of it its up to the Russians and a Skycrane to bring a new generator to Pang. Talk about an expensive Generator!

This photo shows the AN124 ready to unload in Iqaluit.

I remember asking John Robertson if I could put the charter cost ($18,000 at the time) on my Visa - for the points. I was the first to ask such a question, but he allowed it.
If it was flown on HPW, JR wouldn't have had anything to do with it, as HPW was owned by PWA in 1982. If NV did it, it was flown on NWF or PWK (if it was prior to April 1982, PWK burnt up in a fire in ...... 11 Apr 1982).
