It's probably God telling me it's time to move on to a new paying gig.

What happened to your alter ego? Moving on to greener pastures sounds like a good plan. Why not get into construction? Get paid and a workout at the same time.

I hate to play devil's advocate, but I keep telling you that anything over 260 is just too much for a professional male ballet dancer.

It's not God telling you anything. Unless you believe in fairy tales.

He was delicious. I recall putting on around 40 pounds while complaining about how bad the food was at camp.

I will probably never find a more enjoyable job. I suppose that is why they can retain people without paying them much more than min.

Oh well, I should be cooking and cleaning more.

$11.50 an hour?!?!?? Jesus... Now I know why I pulled the plug on my aviation career...

Don't feel bad about the weight. I was pushing 260 a while back, had a health scare which scared me straight. Back to the gym, and back to my high school/college workouts. Lost 65 lbs in 3 months and kept it off for the last 2 years. I'm at 205 now, but that's muscle coming back! :D Goal is to hit 210.

Unfortunately my weight is on a 2 or 3 years cycle and I am currently at a peak. At my last medical my CAME asked me if I had received the "fat letter" yet?! Apparently they are starting to look at BMI and will sometimes request extra data like cholesterol, etc. He said not to panic if I got it, but still.... hope I can get some of this weight off before I get something like that - that will be so depressing it will drive me to stress eat!

Just what we need, people will be "cutting" during the week leading up to their medical. Get out the rain suit, duct tape it on, and hit the tread mill till you make the weigh in...

Thank you for the supportive post taiser. I have not been working in aviation. It's a part time gig that was supposed to pay for me to rent a 172 more than once a year.

I lost my mommy this year and was comfort eating while she was ill.

Funny, I made a concerted effort last year to keep the 35 pounds off I lost over six months. Gained 20 in a little over one month.

I have not had it checked recently but our genetics seem to be pretty good in the cholesterol department.
