Hey, that's good news for Viking.

AND, the Twin Otter is just the plane the Chinese will need to fly around between their oil and gas properties in Northern Canada! :rolleyes:

Is there an order? The articles just mention this is what Viking hopes to sell.

I think that perhaps they mean a Twin Otter series 400, not 400 Twin Otters.

Just gotta make sure they don't bolt some Russian engines on it, call it a completely different airplane and start making it themselves. They've been doing it to Russian technology forever. There's all kinds of not-BMWs and not-Bentlys running around China....

I think its 50 firm orders for the next 5 years for now and 400 - 50= 350 in the years after... Lots of work regardless.
