This certainly would curb any expansion plans by Porter. Although I was under the impression such a decision is left to the city, not federally, anyone correct that? Also if such runway expansion doesn't take place can anyone foresee Porter using the C-Series out of somewhere else? They would certainly lose their competitive niche edge if so.

It's a tripartite between federal, provincial and municipal governments that will decide the fate.

And if the NDP form a govt .... (heaven forbid for the aviation industry) their meddling in similar decisions to pay off their debts to the most extreme elements of the party such as The Leap Manifest group will not bode well for those who burn jet fuel..... or spread Chemtrails.

Then for those who want further expansion in Aviation and Toronto. Not to vote NDP. I heard that Porter might use Ottawa as its Jet Hub.

Either I've missed or forgotten about an earlier article stating the Liberals would also keep the jet ban
