Calgary YYC Fighter jet escort about 6:15 PM Oct 20?
Hey... I was standing outside a friends place in the SW and looked up to see what looked like a southwest plane being escorted by a small plane... Can't find any reports on it... anyone have any insight?

this shows how unreliable "eyewitness" reports are... I like to think i'm moderately informed about different types of aircraft, etc, but I was almost certain it was a southwest plane with a fighter jet... I was only slightly off. LOL

Well, I can see how you thought it was a Southwest plane, given the paint job. And since I don't think Southwest actually flies to YYC, the idea that it was under fighter escort could come easily to mind.
