Women

Post by petite »

Allo Everyone

I know there are women on this board and some lurking too. I want to extend an invite to them to post more and join in on the fun. Don't let the guys scare you off.

I'll start with me. I'm petite and I am a female in aviation.

Hello petit, nice to see a call for the women to say hi.
Just wondering what sector of aviation each of you are in.
I have my commercial, multi & instructors rating as well as diploma in aircraft maintenance, but chose the desk route of aviation. Much easier on the wallet and family life.

A thread that was supposed to allow the women to 'flex their cyber-balls' has turned into a call for Haz. Not what the original poster had in mind?

What's next: are the women going to petition for their voting rights on AvCanada polls?

Utva is right. This was to encourage women to talk on this site. Women in this industry seem to be few and far between. The internet would be a natural place for us to congreate and support each other and share experiences.

I also extend a warm greeting to all women in aviation.

I also extend an open invitation to buy me dinner and seduce me. I'm pretty easy.

Isis <- Egyptian goddess of sex and wine

There are three things that pilots are good at:

- flying
- drinking
- sex-ing

a GOOD pilot can do all three at once!

Cheers to all us hard working women out there! :drink:

- Isis :P

Haz -> taking you out to dinner would certainly take care of 2 out of 3... your choice!

One of my fondest memories of my training is when myself, three of my female classmates and two female instructors were the only planes in the air. The tower controller loved it! He stated that it was the most beutiful sound he had ever heard on the radio; 6 female voices with near-perfect radio calls. It was strangely weird, but uplifting at the same time.

Just thought I'd share...

Nothin' gets your attention then another female's voice on the radio.

Up until last week, I was the only male pilot of four employed at my company. Not by design- it just worked out that way. This industry is changing it's demographics, and in my opinion, it's for the better. Keep given'er sisters!! My wife is pulling for you! 8)

I hear that if women fly in the same circuit long enough they eventually fly in perfect formation.
