Float Rating Wanted?

Post by goldeneagle_53 »

Have C180H on floats. Will train only mature pilots with previous 180/185 time or equivalent to size of aircraft. 7 hours are required. Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. I am available P/T and when not working.

" Will train only mature pilots with previous 180/185 time or equivalent to size of aircraft. "

Why would you limit yourself to such a narrow range of client, a float plane is a float plane, and a Cessna 180 is just another simple very light aircraft, why such a strange requirement?

I'm not trying to insult you, but I've never seen such a requriement before.

What kind of training do you provide, and what are your rates? I thought the cherokee 140 at the airport was the only aircraft for rent in this town.

Goldeneagle_53, if I have previous 180 time why would I hire you to train me. What would you teach me that I would not have already learned from my previous time?

Because you are suposed to be fit to fly my plane solo after about 5 hours. Would you trust me with that if I had 100 hours on a C150? It is not a priveledge but a skill that I am asking for, otherwise don't bother.

He's diversifying his risk. If he can't find anyone to help pay for his 180, his creditors will only go after one of the avatars. Ah @#$! it, it seemed funnier before I wrote it.

Get your rating my friend. You will feel better about yourself after that and perhaps you apologize later. Bythe way, the plane is paid for. Good Luck.

I am glad somebody is less jaleous now. It's about time. The float season is almost over now. See you on the dock next year! Have fun.
