Canadian Training Videos?

Post by frommars »

Does anyone know where I can find good PPL training material? I'm interested particularly in videos that cover topics like VFR communications, air work, etc. Found lots of American stuff, but nothing Canadian?

The market in Canada is pretty small. I personally do not know of any canadian videos of the sorts that you are looking for.

Transport Canada has a few videos available to buy from their website, some of them are pretty decent. They are relatively inexpensive, usually only a couple bucks. You can also order a lot of free non-video stuff from the same website, have a look.

Here is a direct link to the CD-ROM videos, and DVD videos available for purchase.

Hope this helps.

Aero Training Products (http://www.aerotraining.com) has lots of PPL training videos, Canadian and American, plus lots of free on-line flight training tools.

Free Canadian, US, and AME self-testing exams, plus YouTube videos, free texts, etc, are at http://www.aerotransport.com/, not at aerotraining.com

Harv's Air is a good source. 1000s of hours of videos. Can be a bit dry at times but if you can absorb even 10% you'll be laughing.

+1 on PilotEffect. They also have a website separate from Youtube: http://www.piloteffect.com. Good videos and growing selection.
