I was out searching myself visiting schools in the GTA and Ottawa area a week or two ago and came up empty handed. Not much hiring going on this time of year.

You'll see a really large amount of hiring very soon in FTU's I predict, considering all the 703's just got gutted this last month by the Reej's hiring.
