Canadian Airlines
Could the name ever be used for a corporation, namely an airline, going forward?
I feel like the lasting memory from this company sits well in most peoples minds. Would be cool bringing back the brand to its former glory.
I know the 'Empress' call sign issue came up not too long ago and it got me thinking about the legalities of reviving the brand.

Re: Canadian Airlines
"Canadian Airlines International Ltd" is probably still owned by Air Canada. Not sure what kind of trademarks might still be owned regarding an airline calling themselves "Canadian" or "Canadian Airlines". That name might have even been an asset disposed of during AC's bankruptcy.

Yeah I wasn't sure what AC owns or doesn't own with regards to Canadian Airlines.

Re: Canadian Airlines
CP hasn't been involved with the airline since they sold it to PWA, who formed Canadian Airlines.

If anyone wants to start this one up again, I know of more than a few guys in the sandbox that would drop everything, self included, to signup.
