tel qu expliquer plus tot: PILOTS WHO HAD COMPLETED THE HIRING PROCESS WHEN WE STOPPED RECRUITING IN 2001...
Je n ai aucune idee combien de Jazz restaient dans le pool a la fin de la derniere periode d embauche. Il y a 2 pilotes qui ont refuses l offre d AC et 8 n ont pas reussi/completer le medical.
Comme tout entrevue l experience/qualifications joue un role pour y acceder (a l entrevue), l attitude durant l entrevue joue un role important pour etre choisi pour l emplois.

On passe donc de 360 postes à 200 postes...et les résultats du prochain trimestre seront-ils meilleurs que Transat?
AC toujours la tête dans les nuages, et les mains dans nos poches!
Reste à voir l'impact de la grippe de poule avec l'impact de l'augmentation du fuel.

19 NEW HIRE PILOTS (nov) THIS BRINGS TO 80 THE TOTAL OF PILOTS HIRED SINCE JULY, WITH ANOTHER 15 SCHEDULED TO START COURSE ON DECEMBER 12TH. NEXT YEAR WE ARE PLANNING TO SELECT APPROXIMATELY 200 CANDIDATES FROM THE 5000 PLUS ON FILE.

Our pilot hiring continues unabated. Since the program resumed in July 2005, Air Canada has hired 161 pilots including 18 candidates on the March 27 course. Over the next three months, we are planning to hire up to one hundred pilots, and at least 20 a month for the remainder of 2006. Although our minimum requirements are 1000 hours and a Commercial Pilot’s Licence, Flight Operations is only interviewing candidates with at least 3000 hours and an ATPL. At present, we have over 5000 applicants to select from on our Website. To assist us during this period of high volume hiring, Captain Sterling Little (retired) and Ms. Jennifer Johnson have joined the hiring team.

YYZ increases by 239 Capts 234 F/Os' and 42 R/Ps'
YWG decreases by 8 Capts' and 7 F/O's
YVR increases by 35 Capts' 18 F/Os' and loses 4 R/Ps'
Total required is another 566 pilots. All those hired up to March 2006 are eligible to bid.

Le premier chiffre est pour un pilote sans aucun credit de service chez Jazz, le dexieme est avec 4 ans ou plus e service chez Jazz.
1st year annual flat salary $ 37,300 - $ 48,300
2nd year annual flat salary $ 42,400 - $ 50,500
3rd year annual flat salary $ 45,500 - $ 52.100*
* $ 52,100 used for calculation of wage pool rates for all RPs
