While the guy in the seat next to you isn't looking, slowly trim the plane nose down untill it wont go anymore... hold the controls back with all your might keeping it level... then ask him if he can take controll for a second and watch the look on his face when he grabs the controlls!

If the new guy is new with gravel runways he might not know what "sweeping the prop" means. Hand him the broom and, ask him to sweep the prop. He might actually sweep the prop.
