DHC-2 Swap 2 blade for 3

I have a HS 2D30-237 with 6101A-12 Blades. Blades are in B+ shape, Fresh water history in BC. Looking to swap for a 3 blade Hartzell

What is the advantage here of a 3 blade?

I'm gonna guess it's time-x'd or close. And they do look cooler not to mention a lot more quiet than the aforementioned 2 blade prop.
