Just released a new iPhone app called Minimums. Shows you Metars/TAFs but the main feature is the ability to set ceiling/visibility minimums for takeoff, landing, and alternate at each airport. Generally useful for telling if you're going to have an easy day or not. You can also create alerts to tell you when the ceiling/visibility/flight category at any airports goes above or below a certain value.
I've put 5 promo codes for free copies at the bottom - would appreciate any feedback in exchange. Let me know what you like and don't like, or any other features you think would be useful.

Re: New Metar/TAF iPhone App - Minimums
Not bad although I assumed that the minima would be auto-filled from the CAP minima with the option to edit. Also, like aeroweather the app does NOT show the last few METARs which I don't like because I can't see the current trend.

Thanks ragbagflyer. Adding the last few metars is definitely something I can do in future versions. I haven't been able to find a good source of CAP minima that's available for download, and aside from entering/updating it manually in a database, I don't see a good option here. Most charts are in PDF/GIF format which isn't easy to work with when you just want a few numbers from them.ragbagflyer wrote:Not bad although I assumed that the minima would be auto-filled from the CAP minima with the option to edit.
