Did Buffalo Airways get in on the action at ft mac? as in fire fighting?

No they didn't but they have 2 215's sitting in Gimli, Manitoba.

Yes, one of Buffalo's Electra's was in YZH on a three day call out. They flew one day up in Ft. Mac.

One is already in action and was fighting in Ft. Mac, two have been converted.
