?????????
cool story bro....
Re: Air Georgian
R1 and GGN no longer have any commercial relationship. GGN now source their aircraft through AC via leasing companies. Almost all former Jazz operated CRJ200's.

7303 - CRJ-200 C-GKEP AFS Investments V Inc. (Jazz Aviation LP, Enfield, NS)
Registered to Air Georgian Ltd., Mississauga, ON 04-Apr-2016.
This is the 9th CRJ-200 to move from Jazz Aviation to Air Georgian.
Well that's 9 RJ-200's moved in last 6 months - might only be 1 more to come over and then their growth spurt could soon be over or are they getting 12 so 3 more?

Re: Air Georgian
GGN will have a total of 18 CRJ (12 200's 6 100's) - 16 will be used for Air Canada CPA work. Two old 100's will be used for charters or returned to Avmax.
Avmax still owns 50% of Air Georgian

Re: Air Georgian

Re: Air Georgian
Stay away. If your goal is ac, then go to jazz and sky for the pml. Georgian is not only a horrible company, but i know numerous pilots who have worked there and it was the biggest mistake they made. Some were lucky and made it on but a small percentage. Currently most if not all are interviewing elsewhere as soon as their bond is up. At a time where all are hiring the last place you should settle for is ggn.

Re: Air Georgian
First post eh? Are you possibly a disgruntled former employee? What was their reason for feeling it was the "biggest mistake ever"?Roger1989 wrote:Stay away. Couldn't agree more
Re: Air Georgian
No... thankfully... but I see those clowns and the passengers they leave behind in Terminal 1 now and then. The disgruntled employees can easily be found in their crew room. GGN is literally dragging Air Canada's name through the mud here.

Re: Air Georgian
They are cancelling a lot of flights recently. Go look at the departures boards at T1 if you don't believe me. Jazz is covering tons of their former routes again. Don't know if it's a pilot shortage or maintenance issue with airplanes or what.
Let’s Go Brandon
Re: Air Georgian
The only washout is the company who's flying broken down rj's with ridiculous attrition rates that you seem to be so well educated on. Ggn is an absolute joke and what they make passengers go through is horrible. Just take a stroll down that terminal late one night. now that Jazz is gone its apparent how incompetent ggn is. Only a matter of time before they run out of candidates then nicky nick will have a crack at flying a giant deferral.gtanorth wrote:Really, from a washout.........

Friggin Good one! lolRoger1989 wrote:Only a matter of time before they run out of candidates then nicky nick will have a crack at flying a giant deferral.gtanorth wrote:Really, from a washout.........
I can't speak first hand of management/company so much nor would I want to but I do know a number of crew there and they are great pilots/people doing their best, trying to advance their careers. Don't knock them!
Re: Air Georgian
GGN has not had any attrition to speak of other than people who did not get the nod from AC. Lack of crew is related to a back up in simulator availability due to a lot of US operators that ending up keeping 200's due to low price of fuel. Other than that it is related to very very high utilization of the aircraft. They have the full 16 or 17 CRJ's now - crewing should catch up soon.
Keeping up with the PML is challenging of course but it is such a benefit in recruitment that they seem happy with attrition to AC.
