I was in the mock up at NBAA last year, and judging from that, I think this will be an incredible aircraft. I think the flight deck will blow away any of its competition, let alone the cabin which will be amazing. This is my unbiased opinion...I've either been in or flown all the big long range jets, and I really think this will be a winner. Now hopefully there is a big enough market for it.

Since I work on the program I can't say too much, on pain of many lashings. It's definitely an impressive plane though. The wing is beautiful, the one-piece engine fan (machined from a solid titanium billet) is an incredible bit of hardware, and there are some really neat bits of eye candy that haven't yet been revealed that should look really cool.

Great news today (Nov 04th 2017) from Downsview airport in Toronto.

The 7000 did its maiden flight climbing to FL200 and reached 250 kts on its 2 hour and 27 minute first flight.

Congrats to all that work on the project and I certainly hope to fly one or the 8000 prior to my retirement.
