airsealines
any news on Airsealines in Greece? I have been keeping track with them on their website, seems they are having trouble with Greek bureaucracy and red tape.
I recently spoke with an instructor at Global Aviation in Greece and asked about the conversion to JAR, also about my seaplane rating and how to get the equivalent for JAR. He mentioned that Air Sea Lines is the only company in Greece that uses floats and he said that they have special permission to use Canadian licences for their operation as the company is Canadian owned (maybe part owned?). He will be getting back to me with details soon but he said that there is no problem with them operating in Greece that way.
I dream of a pilot in shining aluminum *sigh*
