Do you have all your build up time? if not, the Parksville-Qualicum Aero Club has a great flying 172M at Qualicum http://www.pqac.ca

There is a school there called Nanaimo Flight Center. It is owned and operated by the same person that operated both Qualicum and Courtenay Flight Centers. I was the CFI in Qualicum for a year and loved every second of working for J.S. Great company and great guy to work for. I'm not too sure if they're still around but if they are I would do my training there in a second.

Nanaimo flight center is pretty descent. I actually flew there last X-mas, took up the family all that jazz. Nice guy working there at the time. I cant remember the exact price but i think it was around $110/hr on the 172.

I just went looking for their web-site, it seems to be down. But the yellow pages should be able to help. If all else fails call some other business out at the airport and ask for help there.

Their web-address was: http://www.nanaimoflightcenter.com
Courtney flight center is down too.
Try checking in a day or two, might just be a server thing.
