Flight simulator
I have a question for those using Microsoft Flight Simulator. I've acquired both the A320 professional add on by Phoenix and the A320 pilot in command by Wilco. I do not have MS flight simulator 2002 or 2004 yet. I understand the A320 PIC will work with 2004 (with a patch) but have not found anything on A320 professional and 2004. Question....should I get 2002 or 2004? Anyone have any other insite on these add ons? Which is better etc.
Thanks
Thanks
MS FS 2004 is a fine hobby simulator, but you had better make sure your computer is up-to-date and fast. It's a real system hog.
There is another flight sim out there that is growing in popularity, called X-plane. It's the life's work of a fellow called Austin Meyer, and it focuses more on the physics of flight than MS flight sim does. You can actually design your own aircraft and fly them using this sim. It's $39 at the moment and worth every penny.

Check it out, it has been approved by the FAA for flight training and you can actually build a sim using the software. I understand that you have already bought the addons for MS flight sim, but it's still worth a look.

Agreed... get the IFDG planes from http://www.avsim.com and then alias the panel and sounds from the PSS bus over.... I think the 319/321 series were a straight panel alias, and there was a minor change to the aircraft.cfg file for the 320 series... anyways its a good simulation. Send me a PM if you need more info, Ive got the total setup
