Planes clip wings on Vancouver airport tarmac leaving both unable to fly

A United Airlines plane clipped wings with a WestJet aircraft Thursday morning on the tarmac at Vancouver International Airport, leaving both planes damaged and unable to fly.

The incident happened while the United Airbus A319 was being towed into Gate 77 of the airport's international terminal.

That's a load. They would just be even more lazy than they are.

Besides - The supervisor who was doing the tow is paid quite well. Maybe he should follow the proper lead in line....and some wing walkers would help too.

The 737 is back in service after having his winglet replaced and the bus is still broken awaiting parts.

Maybe there are a few baggage handlers that are lazy, just like there are rude, ignorant, mightier than thou pilots (I will put you in this category), but hey not everyone needs to be painted by that brush. Have you ever chucked bags, fuelled airplanes, de-iced, just basic ground handling? I highly doubt it from this comment. NEVER condemn anyone's job, for we all need people to do jobs that, to some, such as yourself, may be undesirable but still need doing and they are working for an honest wage trying to make ends meet. So the next time you criticize or condemn a position "lower" than yours, get out, give a hand and see what they have to contend with. Yours is not the only airplane on the ramp in need of servicing. Until then, I hope you are continuously delayed due to no fuel, no deicing, no push back tugs and no bags loaded.
