Recruitment Email?

Post by McKinley »

Hey ,

I received an email from Jazz recruitment stating "We have recieved your application please give us a call so we can learn more about you." The email then states "give us a call at XYZ # so we can discuss your application."

Anyone had one of these before?

Yes, I just received one this morning as well. I called the number, it was one of the HR people for pilot recruitment.

If it's appropriate to ask on here or in a PM may I know the kind of flight experience that got you a reply and how long ago was your application put in. Thanks.

2100TT, 900 Turbine.
Took 13 calendar days - much less if you remove weekends and Xmas holidays.

2500 TT, mostly turbine FO time, Dash rated. 2 months from application to phone call. Time frame for ppl in my GS was as little as a few days from application to booking an interview. Recruitment is picking up heavily as of late. Good luck to all. Its quite a process, try to enjoy it every step of the way. In the 16 hrs I had free before my sim eval in YUL i went into town to get my first schwartz smoked meat sandwich, so that way if i bombed the sim eval, atleast i got to try one of those famous sandwiches as a consolation.

1500 hours, all piston twin. Good amount of MPIC abd ATPLs written. From call to interview about two/three weeks. Then less than a month to the offer and start of GS. Lots of varying experience here right now so it's really hard to say what they are looking for. Good luck.
