Bush Flying In Kenora
Bush flying in Northwest Ontario can't get better than flying in Kenora. In the summer the population triples, the women come out and are beautiful, the nights are fun, the beer flows, and the area is just georgous. Plus its semi-civilized. As in beer store, LCBO, Boston Pizza, Pizza Hut, Tim Hortins, KFC, McDonalds, Walmart, Canadian Tire.....basically almost everything you could want. Plus Haps, and the Monkey which are two awsome pubs. Kenora for bush flying would be the New York to buisness. Im biased though, I've been going to Kenora for 18 years.

Well the Kenora mill just closed and if you asked a "permanent resident" of Kenora they'll tell you they'd embrace the smell of money about now.KenoraPilot wrote:To bad that Fort Frances smells like a Sh*t Hole! I'm just a little partial to the Fort since I married one.
Which Tournament the one held in Kenora called the KBI or the one in Fort? Both good events IMHO. Having lived and loved in both towns I can tell you that Fort Frances is a way more relaxed community.
The border is right there and those Minnesota blonds
My mom lived in Oak Bay Victoria. A city of newly wed and nearly dead. Very purdy though.

LOL, Rob had that job in the nineties and left it to come back to KAS if I am not mistaken.
You are right, Haps and the likes make it like vacation spot for bush pilots. So did KAS get some more camps or did they still some work back from WAS? Was getting to the point where Fletcher Lake Lodge was their staple.
