If it is about "Proper Selection and training" for these college grads, then wouldn't it seem only fair to open it up to all new pilots under lets just say for example 300 hours - to get the best they possibly could for this test? Why not have the same interview and evaluation process that real pilots have to go through when they apply to Jazz, just this time look at applicants between 200-300 hours.

There are alot of us who have very recently finished college and moved north and west to pay our dues who work hard and get laid off from our rampie jobs a short while later only to find a new one. We wouldn't mind the chance to show Jazz what we are made of also.

Now working in the "rampie industry" I have learned so much more in a short period of time than flight school could have ever taught me. I have realized that the best flying I'll ever do is to come over the next 5-10 years - pre-airline. However, some of us wish for the airline job down the road and wouldn't mind the chance to try for it sooner rather than later.

A rampies' opinion.
