How would that compare to compensation pre-CCAA?

I started post CCAA but when you factor in the concessions which we are getting back, plus inflation over the last several years, it will likely be a modest raise at best but better than the crap we have now.....

Don't forget if you're in Ontario, the HST comes in July 1st. Gas, utilites, lawyer/real estate fees, home improvements, Golf green fees, gym memberships etc etc all go up 8%.

Don't forget the HST also apparently now applies to commuting.
Add that to the service charges we are now paying, and I have taken approx. the equivalent of a 6-8% pay cut since last December (because the service charges, and increased taxes are paid for out of net pay).

It's been very quiet here.....Realize that as a group we are very divided...so maybe the solidarity and the tentative agreement of the Jazz pilots have left us speechless.....  :smt014

Anyway...Happy Canada Day !!

Too true! With the CLRB about to rule on the division of maintenance (in the next week), its likely AC will be shedding a large number of employees and wages. Possibly this will make them more agile come contract time. Divided pretty much sums it up.

AC could charter Air Creebec, Air Georgian or others to provide aircraft during a strike at Jazz Air LP. Any pilot operating those aircraft would be scabbing Jazz Air pilots work.
Would Jazz fly GGN routes if the GGN guys had gone on strike during their negotiations?

It's all AC flying. AC gives it to Jazz and GGN. It's not scabbing.
