Me thinks your taking yourself too seriously...as others have suggested if TV showed what flying was really about no one but pilots would bother to watch and pilots won't pay the bills so this stuff has to be dumbed down so the average couch potato will watch and the advertisers will pay. Just take your typical unexciting day, any of you and get some producer to turn it into something that large numbers of both sexes would like to watch and you'll understand why it has to be dumbed down.

Hey it does not take much to do better than most crap thats on T.V. Anyway I certainly enjoyed it and will probably watch it a bit occasionally. Has a little bit of educational stuff with some neat flying shots. Yeah they over dramatize but all of T.V and news is over dramatized, otherwise its a good distraction every now and then and ok to pass 30 minutes after sitting at a desk all day!

Be interesting to see something like the cost of farming with/without dusting, perhaps a bit of why its being done and the impact. Lots of people are very anti any kind of modern farming and why not throw in a bit more of the value.

Looks as though the final episode was this evening. (fingers crossed) A whole summer of shooting three crop dusters and all they got was 6, 22 minute episodes? I guess it wasn't as exciting as they were letting on.

I bet all of those older, conservative farmers really appreciate his beautiful tattoos. He is so busy showing them off that he cannot wear a Nomex suit. Do you also notice that nobody is wearing protective gloves, clothing or masks while mixing and loading chemical? I did Aerial Application back in the late 80’s when safety was not in the spotlight like today, and we always wore lots of safety equipment.

On another note. I didn't catch it the first time, but when Brennan hears of the crash, he automaticly asumes it's Travis... Most likely all in the editing. but sure does make him look like the true asshole, wanna be that he is..... As for Travis he is not new "he has been flying floatplanes for like 14 years"!!! What a waste of money and time this show is, an enbarrasement to aviation

Speaking of Flying Wild Alaska, there was a shot inside the hanger in Barrow and there was a DHC6 with an experimental sticker on it. It had over sized windows that looked odd. Anybody know anything about it?
