Skyward

Yes that was worth nothing, except for one thing, did some calling around and found out that they did in fact hire atleast one manager from Skyward.
I know that in Ontario things can get pretty political when it comes to dealing with the north. New chief comes in and they prefer to use the other airline and there you have it substantially reduced pax loads. So what if you align yourself with the other airline, pick up ex-employees of the former airline, whatever it takes and by doing that maintain the current "alliance" if you will. Is that so far fetched??
Scooterguy, You yourself can take your own head out of your a$$, cause I have seen it happen, and anybody long enough in the industry in the north knows that this aint bull$hit. It is all about politics and making money. And for hiring locals that is plain and simple geographics and saving on cost. Hire the former cargo, mechanics, res., dispatch, and groomers and save money cause they live there already and know the job already. But for the managers that is all about politics.
Oh and 737 whatever, you know this is true.

The quoting was needed for humour value. The humour is to be found in taking the words and chanigng the implied meaning to something much sillier.
You've finally made it in Aviation when you nolonger work in a city which begins with Fort, Port, Prince, or Saint. Or leave aviation and stay in a Fort.

This is great. Desk driver, you really have no idea. I'll just leave it at that. The internet is a great thing. I wonder if Scooter Guy really has his head up his a$$? Thank God for anonimity.
Inverter, if someone told you you could make a double the fortune you've already made by doing the same thing you've been doing for 65 years would you do it? The only catch is that you do it more.
To quote the President of Exchange Industrial Group (They own Perimeter) "You can not run a 30 million dollar business for 18 years and not have good people working for you."
It was the employees of Skyward that made it work, the same employees who are victims of poor upper management. If they are good people, why not hire them? Why crap on someone for giving them a job?
Politics...A major shareholder in EIG is TCIG or TRIBAL COUNCIL INVESTMENT GROUP. The communities Perimeter serves have a vested interest in supporting their own Airline. I wouldn't suppose Clive Beddoe flies on Air Canada because his new personal assistant's favorite color is red.
The sale of Perimeter was a carefully calculated thing. B.W. is a smart man and an even smarter business man. Is there something wrong with a profitable airline in this country? Everything at PAG is paid for (including Skyward) That company has been eyeing expansion for years. Now they have everything in place to grow. Perhaps they waited for the right time, you're right, time will tell. I wouldn't criticize them for hiring good, qualified people or for wanting to expand. Perhaps they just took advantage of the chance they were waiting for. I hate to say it but that's how things work.
Chantal, if you want to get in on the greedy capitalist bandwagon, buy shares in EIIF-UN.V 13% is a pretty good return.
Desk driver, I would tell you not to bother sending a resume to Perimeter but everyone on this forum has heard your rebuttal. Does it go something like this? "Even if Perimeter was the last company on earth I would never work there." Not to worry, after your last few posts it's pretty clear you won't. I'm sure you have a better job anyway. Cheers.

Gilligan:
1) Learn to relax and enjoy life. Laugh, find fun in every day.
2) I am not, nor would I, apply to Perimeter. I'm currently considering leaving the industry. A head-hunting firm has contacted me with a very attractive offer which would compensate me quite nicely.
3) Pull your hand out of your pants you pervert.
