I think it doesn't mean anything. Sometimes you can have a negative MMPI due to inconsistency or invalid results. Not because you are crazy as shit.
That might be true after the first MMPI or the second. But that they let you have a shot at it again after you messed up the interview with the psychologist… come on. At some point you have to ask questions about the integrity of the candidate. Even if he might be “sane”. In all honesty I wouldn’t be comfortable sitting next to someone who failed his psych eval 3 times. There is a reason they’re doing it. If you just get as many tries as you like why even bother.
If your results are 2 MMPI inconsistent and failed the psych interview I agree. But when you are waiting for psych interview results (I think it's the case), that doesn't mean anything IMHO. MMPIs can be inconsistent due to invalid entries.
That's the case indeed.

I imagine things are slowing down or being paused due to negots and looming strike action.

I interviewed July 21st. Background and reference checked within about 2 weeks. No letter yet. I did follow up a few weeks ago and was just told “ the expectation is to hear within 8-12 weeks”

6000TT/ 5500PIC including about 3000 703/705 MPIC

The same thing that happen to jazz guys is now happening to OTS. Whatever they tell you for timing is far from the truth. Everyone who interviewed at jazz after December 2022 was told 2 months max from interview to offer, and ended up waiting 8 months. In the end AC does whatever they want.

That's right, except that Jazz pilot reservoir cannot be sucked the way OTS are sucked from other companies. So successful Jazz pilots reservoir is going to an end (my guess pretty soon), OTS being called at that moment.

Interview/Medical July 10th. Got the call yesterday for Nov 29th start. They didn't even call my references. I also had to redo the psych eval. Those computerized tests aren't that great. Good luck to everyone!

That'll be the case until the end of 2023. Then 2024 is another story.
I'm surprised they aren't filling up the class with 40 pilots though.

My full timeline is this:
May 28 - application in
June 22 - invite for interview
July 18 - Medical YUL
July 21 - interview YUL
Aug 08 - background check
Aug 09 - 1 reference contacted
Oct 10 - called with offer
Nov 29 - official start date

Not that it makes a huge difference but I’m roughly 6000 hours most of which is 703/ 705 PIC

Was there any hint in the interviews, that if hiring stops, maybe reversing to layoffs, with diplomatic rows in two major widebody destinations, Tel Aviv and Delhi? Or do they have enough destinations that still wets the appetite for growth?

Serious answers only please.

None. It's business as usual. Matter of fact this year we have now surpassed the most amount of new hires hired in single year in all of AC's history. We have 4 mores classes scheduled till the end of this year. 2 classes in Nov. 2 classes in Dec. Might be one technically starting right after Christmas.

Anybody aware if there will be any PIT courses in Dec? I heard from a colleague that HR told them they were not sure if they were going forward with the Dec PIT courses or not.

The stock price is currently lower than it was of the height of March/Apr 2020. Height of covid.
