Yes, though I find him far too partisan in his way of thinking, crazy is as crazy does and Kim and Hugo absolutely insane and dangerous. But because they are also a little laughable, I believe they are underestimated.
Time will tell, it always does.

Hugo Chavez is a Castro wannabe, and Kim Ill is just plain crazy.
Good to see someone here with a level head .. LOL.... and any girl wants her own personal bunker, is all right with me.
The +1 reference is a version of "Me too!"
In Rush Limbaugh terms, it would be a the equivalent of a caller opening the conversation with "Mega-dittos Rush." Its an expression of support.
Like you are a combination First Responder and Newspaper Owner-Publisher, I also have a highly varied background of which aviation is merely a facet on the jewel that is my life.
Charles used to be the newsman for my now deceased best friend Ron Able at CKY, and I've been acquainted with him for roughly 25 years.
Partisan or not, you can't argue with his success in the marketplace.....and that's what broadcasting is really all about. The only way Charles would lean left, is because his wallet was full of money and it was in his right hip pocket ... LOL.
Nice!
Absolutely - but . is selling news entertainment, not journalism.
I have an appreciation for his talent and his skill and he has certainly been a good friend to me over the years... but I do take issue with the overall climate of black or white, left or right, right or wrong partisan tactics, especially in the news realm which to me, best serves the public through critical thought.
However, in my op-eds, I do exactly what Charles does in order to stimulate my audience. I just try to ensure I don't do it all the time, and I very clearly differentiate between news and opinion.

OTTAWA – Canada's heritage minister is forcing Library and Archives Canada to show a controversial film on Iran's human rights abuses and nuclear program, he announced Wednesday.
The morning after the library cancelled a public screening over threats of protest and two days after it tried to cancel over a complaint from the Iranian Embassy, Canadian Heritage Minister James Moore says the documentary will run in the library's theatre.
“New time (and) date to be announced soon. The show will go on,” Moore said on his Twitter account.
Moore's spokeswoman says the principle of free speech is one of the cornerstones of Canadian democracy.
“The minister has instructed the Library and Archives to honour their commitment to show the film, while taking all appropriate steps to ensure security. Canada does not accept attempts from the Iranian Embassy to dictate what films will and will not be shown in Canada,” Codie Taylor wrote in an e-mail to QMI Agency.
Does modern Iran remind anyone else of Germany during the early 1940's?
I know plenty of German people, and they seem like pretty decent folk to me. But they did have a horribly evil government running their country in WWII.
Similarly, I've met Iranians, and gosh, individually they seem like reasonable, decent people to me. Not evil, not monsters.
BMC: help me out here. I'm sure you've met more Iranians than I have. What's your impression of them?
Do remember that politicians had us believe that the Japanese were evil, and the Chinese were our friends, and the Germans were evil, and the Russians were our friends (WWII).
Then shortly after that, the Japanese and Germans were our friends, and the Russians and Chinese were now evil. Ok ...
Now, the Russians and Chinese are our friends. But hold it - are the Russians evil again now?
I really have trouble keeping up with whom we are told are our friends, and how are our evil enemies.
Just because a country has a bad government, doesn't mean the people are evil. For example, Suddam Hussein was one nasty dictator, but that doesn't mean that all (or even most) Iraqis are evil - just that they suffered under a brutal, nasty government.
IMHO there are a lot of evil, nasty people in North America, too. All we can do is hope that they don't rise to positions of power.
I have to admit, Iran makes me nervous. And even the Muslim faith makes me jittery, especially as a woman.
Did you know in the past, there were dozens of strains on the Muslim faith, and only a few were radical or conservative? Then, those with the radical faiths began forming government and the trouble ensued.
But there are valid points about not judging all with the same eyes. Imagine what the world thought of America as the events of the Civil Rights Movement unfolded. Having just read a book recently about that, I was blown away.
Iran is not what we think. It is a huge country that has a very rich culture and heritage, that predates Islam...
They were being oppressed by a dictator friendly to the west, when they decided to stage a revolution, which was trendy in the 70s. In 78, there were revolutions in Iran, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, all fuelled by Saudi newly found oil riches...
As happens with most revolutions, people got cheated when they saw that the result was a fondamentalist government, that took their civil liberties, in exchange for less oppression.
The vast majority of people now does not support the government, but the west is providing it with a propaganda tool, in the form of sanctions. Everybody there suffer from the economic sanctions, and they are driven to believe that the bad ones are in DC, not Teheran.
My feeling is that a person should not judge a country by accounts in the mainstream media. They are our propaganda tool. They simply follow government wishes to maintain scarecrows on the horizon, to justify these monstrous defense budget...
My 2 cents...
