Has anyone submitted all documents in person to Surrey recently? How long did it take for everything to be approved?

Can someone please clarify what exactly is ATPL 421.34 (5) Skill involves.
(5) Skill
(a) Within the 12 months preceding the date of application for the licence, an applicant shall demonstrate in a multi-engined aeroplane with no central thrust configuration and fitted with instruments and equipment suitable for IFR flight in controlled airspace, familiarity with and the ability:
(amended 1999/03/01)
(i) to perform both normal and emergency flight procedures and manoeuvres appropriate to the aeroplane in which the flight test is conducted; and
(ii) to execute all manoeuvres and procedures set forth in Division XIV for issue of a Group 1 instrument rating.
(b) For issue of the Airline Transport Pilot Licence - Aeroplane, the Minister shall only endorse a Group 1 Instrument Rating on the licence. (amended 2005/06/01)
Say you are an FO on a 705 ops, do you need to do a level D sim ride as acting captain? have a PPC completed and valid? Or something else?

Group 1 Mandatory on a Level D Sim? I have a PC12NG PPC ride on Level D in 2 weeks. Last flight test was IFR in Sept 2022

Whether it's on a level D or an aircraft, it has to be group 1. Your PC12 ride will not satisfy the requirement

Would an IPC on a redbird qualify?

If my logbook is as a excel file, what is the corect way to submit it to TC? Do I start printing copies? (I know they want it certified, but since my logbook is digital?). Or does TC finally accepts sending them my excel file (digital) to one of their email addresses?

Last time when I had to hand in logs and application, I went in-person to one of their office. Is there an email where I can send that now? Or I need to make an account with TC? (for the digital file or pdf submission - without killing trees printing that PDF)

You can email them the excel file. Just call the office you’re applying to and they’ll give you the email address. No need for it to be certified

Anyone able to answer as to whether you can write the exams outside of Canada/remotely? Anyone recently converted from the FAA ATPL to the Canadian version, would appreciate a DM for a chat.

Anybody else having a similar experience with the Dorval Office? (Montreal, QC)

Hello All,
I was filling out ATPL Application to submit to TC for my ATPL.
I just noticed this:
PART B – LICENSING REQUIREMENTS
4. The “Written Exam” requirement must be met within the 24 months preceding the date of application.
my SAMRA and SARON were written last month, so I am good there.
However, I did my INRAT in 2019 when I did my Multi-IFR.
I have been flying 703 Multi IFR since then, and have gone through a Multi engine PPC every year since then.
Since It has been more than 2 years since writing INRAT, do I really need to write INRAT again?
OR does TC consider my INRAT current because of my PPCs?
Thanks in advance.

no you don't have to write INRAT again
you obtained the rating within it's validity period and now it doesn't expire

I am just curious. What is the ruling for the following: 1) You completed a integrated program on say September of 2023, wrote your SAMRA and SARON both in December of 2023.
When will the 5 years Frozen ATPL date start? Would it be from the sign off or from the time you wrote both exams?

Foreign conversion ?
Seems like they prioritize conversion over normal applications … but Dorval is special
