Get over it Joe, its not costing $20k. All the training is done on freight runs anyway. The only cost would be the actual PPC and then its fuel and pilots only as the rest is already paid for. Gord as been there 6 years by the way. He paid his dues.

I dont understand why they dont gives the new guys some stick times in the C185 and Baron?

It must be entertaining to be Buffalo's POI from TC.

Do you suppose they get a heads-up prior to every episode about what's being embellished or down right faked for television?

Didn't he say in the episode after Arnie left he would only be the interim CP? He didn't want the job as there was too much paperwork and crap associated with it.

Chief Pilots for this type of operation don't come cheap, and they demand respect from both sides (NO YELLING). :smt014 If he can't find someone in house who is willing to do the job, I would futher guess that young Gord isn't the only one who is looking for employment else where. For the young guns at Buffalo, eventually you have to get some turbine time, your not going to get it at buffalo.
Times are going to be good for the next couple of years while AC hires 10 to 20 guys/gals a month, not to mention if the LCC comes to fruition, then all bets are off. CMA/Georgian, will have full frontal attack on their staff, it's going to get ugly for some tier three operations. AC will be dropping the post secondary thing fairly quick, going for the best candidates available, as much as I like guys who have the experience that Buffalo offers, the guys that are doing the interveiws now don't see it that way, they like to see guys with solid turbine and IFR background.
Captains like Devin, Justin and AJ must be interested in moving up the food chain eventually, I'm sure they don't see Buffalo as long term position.

I get that a lot as well. Quite painful as a matter of fact to restart the video over and over again and then seek for a spot where it got stuck last time.

I have a Rogers service and Safari (on iMac) browser. I will try some other browser on the windows OS computer to see if that is any better. My other concern is Rogers internet service which seems spotty the only time when I am streaming videos (hmmmmmm) other than you tube. I will investigate the issue a bit and let you know.

Cheers

Dan

I am using Fire fox. When i click on the any program it runs a 15 second commercial with no video then just locks up. The only way i can try again is to exit the link and go back in.

I just tried it out there now, and the entire history.ca website is just displaying an ASP error message, so I guess they're having some problems at the moment :)

I do remember in the past that I had problems viewing the videos if I had ad-blocking switched on, so if you have any ad-blocking software try switching it off. Also see if it works on a different browser.

Is it just me or do others think Duane's employment with Buffalo Air is soon coming to a end. He's trying very hard to land those contracts for the Electra and it seems Joe's never happy with his efforts. DHC
My condolences to the McBryan family.

The ads were a little 'off' for me, but otherwise the show was solid.

Man, can't have been any fun trying to sleep in the middle of the day to make the duty day/rest times work out for the midnight express to Trenton..

Edited for my being an Ass: Regardless of how the show is edited, I'm sure that, in order to work together, the McBryan family is pretty close. I'm sorry to hear of the loss of their Mother and Grandmother.

My condolences to all McBryans!

Looks like You Canadians hit a winning streak with all these "Ice"-Shows! :)
I just learned about this new upcoming canadian TV show "Arctic Air".Is this a new fictional action series based on the adventures of Buffalo Air? With more scripted and condensed action, drama, love-stories and professional actors? Does anybody know how much Buffalo is involved in this?

Not me, There is no way Bradley's just phoned him and hired him over the phone; he knew it was coming. Losers like that are why there are training bonds these days. Joe gave him a thumbs up, and he gave Joe the finger. He could have just said to Joe, why not wait a bit, I had an interview at Bradley's that went well and I'll know in a week or so, after that I will commit to another year if you still want me on the 46.

No honour.

With all the Electra cockpit shots recently, it is interesting how the FE and the pilot pull the power levers into reverse at the same time with the FE using the levers on the PNF side. Is there a particular reason for this. Does the FE just follow through for confirmation for reverse and setting power for takeoff.

Is the regular Electra Cojo(Sean, I think) just on the Electra....perhaps a contract guy?
