True. A friend of mine on the north side of 70 got checked out on the L-39 in the US after flying privately for years. Said it was easy and enjoyable, even basic acro!

Sure hope it is true for me too because it's going to be a while before I can afford to do anything new and exciting in aviation.

The person below me is wondering where their life is going to end up, but enjoying the ride there all the same 8)

Very true! Being unemployed - though scary as hell also seems to offer up endless open doors and opportunities. It's almost like when you were a kid - being asked what you want to be when you grow up and having the whole world laid out ahead of you. (Though it does make flying more difficult)

The person below me is glad to have their job - even when it means cold 630AM starts. :prayer:

False, I have a feeling Obama is going to be the winner, but I'd vote for Palin if, since she's a VPILF, she assured me a 'position' in her 'cabinet'. Oh that's right, I'm Canadian, I can't vote for her,

TPBM is looking out the window at a sunny day right now.

Having a standard that pilots lose their licence after making a mistake despite doing no harm to aircraft or passengers means soon you needn't worry about a pilot surplus or pilots offering to fly for free. Where do you get your experience from?

False. Strangely enough though, I'm feeling a little sick. A guy came into work Thursday and Friday hacking and snorting like a fiend. I think I caught a bug. :x

The person below me hates it when people who should call in sick come into work, then get everyone else sick.
