Old timer I'm going to borrow your last post it's a good teaching aid.

Fuel consuption rule of thumb.

A piston aircraft burns five gallond of gas for every 100 horse power. I use canadian gallons for a fudge factor.

E.G. 150 Horses = 7.5 gallons
500 horses = 25 gallons
