Thanks to everyone for the good wishes. I think that everyone of us pauses to wonder if this is the right place to be. I know I did, stuck it out for a few months and decided to stay. I consider myself lucky, believe it or not I am only on my second job. I don't plan to leave it. Call it Karma or just plain lucky who knows. In the early years my family has had to put up with me being gone for 18 or 19 days per month, and missing some major holidays (Christmas, etc..). The schedules are now better, and so are the benefits, at the very least I am able to stay home while my son is ill. I don't mean to ramble on, but each one of us has to find their own answers. Some will stay and some will move on, you have to what is best for you and your families.
