Hey hazatude your right about CJ working pretty hard to get to where they are today. They have an infastructure something ACE managment did not care about ever having. I heard that one guy did the work of 5-10 people in the office and the owners were always at the cottage. It really is sorry about ACE to see guys loose there jobs over mismanagement.
By the way I like the other picture better (the dancing girl).

Hey gelbisch, it's not that I don't trust cargodog's info, it's just kind of weird to know all these things...he must be an insider..haha!! and by the way gimme some tips about CJ's share, i need to buy some!!
But you know what, I'd love to see a Canadian company like CJ to become very successful!!!!!

I agree completely.Canada is in need of some big iron like what ACE was trying to do. Whom ever shows up with the first piece of big iron wins. The contracts will walk right into the cargo door.
And by the end of the first half of this year (re: summer) Someone will!!!

who the hell is this "ramp rat" kid?
go away little boy come back when you learn who is who on the field. Oh, by the way, "skycharter's hangar" is not asbestos-infested. The owner of the hangar is the owner of the company, Irving Shoichet, the only one who owns his property on the field. Belive me, I'm not one to defend Irv, but get your facts straight.
Isn't the Airport Strip on the other side of the field?

You need to get your facts straight, perhaps a tour of the area entertainment establishments for you? If you want, just ask and I'm sure there'd be lots of guys on here who would love to take you out and show you a better time than Irv Shoicet.....get your facts straight.

Ramp rat may be missing the obvious fact that Cargodog works for Cargojet, but he knows where the Airport Strip is.

Perhaps a virtual tour, although not nearly as much fun, will clear up the confusion.

I am glad I have spent so much time on this topic now, like I have nothing better to do than educate people about strip joints around YYZ. Sheesh.

Hey you guys, you are making this converstion very interesting. I'd love to take this Techopsgirl on a tour at the "Airport Strip"!!
Then I'd set her straight...hahaha! And I dont pay attention about that ugly ass hanger of his, I worked there b4, it's dark, i fell on the floor a lot of times, and he likes to get his rats to turn off the lights on day time even though there's people working. On the outside during summer time, if you park a 727/f100/md80, it sinks, so you have to power out the machine and blast all the cars on the parking lot, thats fun cuz it makes him mad every time we did it...hahaha!! So you wanna come to the airport strip Techopsgirl???

Hey ramp rat, hold your horses, Tdot doesn't even come close to Montreal in the number of strip joints (for that matter joints period as well). When in college I moonlighted as a driver for a stripper/escort driving "company" and I clearly remember being issued two pages of addresses to every club in the area.
Lots of benefits as well, but no dental plan... Good times.... <sigh>

Gentlemen;
Just to let everybody know, I tracked down a DSM Leasing who put me in touch with the man handling the ACE a/c file as I was very interested in one or two of them. Made contact this morning and he informs that all of the remaining a/c have been sold. He did not provide details, just that I was out of luck.
Thanks to everybody who helped.
Regards
