The whole point of training bonds is to protect the operators investment in you the pilot. A lot of time and money goes into training pilots and to have a pilot get their training and then run off to a another company is expensive. What is the problem with an operator requiring you to work for them long enough to pay off this training. It cost you nothing if you fulfill you obligations that you agreed to before you excepted a job.

Buying PPCs gets a bad reaction on this site but I think getting a company to buy your PPC and then running off to another company is worse. You whore yourself and then as soon as the deed is done you looking for a better opportunity, and if a bond is what is required to protect themselves so be it.


If you don't like to it don't except the job and go else where, nobody is forcing you to take a job with a training bond.

It's a free country, if you don't like it your free to leave.
