Just want to say that I am in the same boat as you guys. Been lurking this post for a couple months so I figured I’d contribute.

I'm not sure if the next course has been filled or not, but I have been coursed twice in VR FIR, and both times received the offer Dec/Jan for a March course start. They may be doing further interviews/testing before sending out offers. Rumor has it the next IFR course will have 16 students (8 enroute & 8 terminal) and start Feb/March.

Can confirm the start date as I am in the course starting in mid February (terminal).

How long was the wait between getting "eligible for offer" and actually recieving your offer?

I don't remember exactly. Maybe 4-6 weeks? It felt like much longer though haha.

I have heard some got their offers on the same day. I have also heard some got standby after a few months and a firm offer a few months after that. So ymmv

Oh interesting. I've been sitting at "eligible for offer" for 2-3 months now. Maybe I'm at the lower end of what is technically allowable for an offer so others are taking priority.

Looks like the 16 IFR spots have been filled for a Feb course already. Next VFR course likely in late spring, not sure if it's filled yet.

Edit: Generally only 1 IFR course is run per year, so the next opportunity is likely Feb/March of 2025

Usually they offer at least 2 months in advance. They need to give the students enough time to obtain a CAT II medical, which can take some time.

We have been seeing offers a year in advance now
