Welll researched talking obout the paradigm shifts in the energy model from a peasant economy (people are energy), to the industrial revolution (coal) to the beginning of the 20th century with WWI and the automobile (oil and gas). He rearches the oil industry and how many countries and companies overestimate the state of their oil reserves. He prdits the rise of oil costs thru the next 15-30 years of this century. The current conflicts in Iraq and other places are accerlerating the predictions, but otherwose highly accurate.
